Job Title: HVAC Service Technician

A proven industry leader with over 30 years of experience in the DMV is looking for experienced HVAC technicians. Responsibilities:

• Perform installations, repairs, maintenance, and various HVAC systems, including but not limited to furnace, air conditions, heat pumps, boilers, and ventilation systems.

• Diagnose issues with HVAC systems and provide appropriate solutions, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to plan and execute HVAC projects effectively.

• Communicate with clients in a professional and courteous manner, explaining the work performed and any recommendations for improvement.

• Keep accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.

• Stay up to date with industry advancements, technologies, and best practices.

• Always adhere to safety protocols and company guidelines.

Qualifications:

Education Requirement with one of the following

• High School diploma or equivalent

License Requirement

• State HVAC License Journeyman or Masters preferred

• Universal CFC Certification Required

• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation

Experience and Physical Expectations

• Minimum of seven (7) years of related experience with HVAC systems

• Strong electrical trouble shooting skills to perform the following; connect motors, compressors, temperature controls, humidity controls, and ventilation fans to starter panels and/or VFD's

• Additionally, you may be asked to speak to your experience with any of the following equipment: RTU’s, Split System AC and HP’s, VRF’s, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Boilers, Gas and Oil Fired, AHU’s, VAV Systems, Chill Water, Condenser Water, Hot Water Systems and Hi/Low Pressure Steam Systems.

• Able to lift up to sixty (60) pounds

• Capable of ascending ladders up to a height of thirty (30) feet

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
